For customers working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic, please mention this in your request, and you will receive a 90 day license.
The Vic-2D digital image correlation software allows the measurement of full-field, in-plane displacements. The software is easy to use, accurate and fast. It requires images from only one camera to run the correlation analysis. There are two downloads for VIC-2D. The first is the VIC-2D software and the second is a set of example speckle images from a tensile test.
To download an evaluation copy of the VIC-2D software, please follow the steps below:
Once you receive an evaluation license, you will be able to analyze your own images or the following free VIC-2D project:
Click here to see what’s new in the VIC-3D 9 Digital Image Correlation System. The latest VIC-3D software with iris analyzes images from a stereo camera system to measure full-field three dimensional displacements (u ,v, & w). It works on non-flat surfaces and is not affected by large rigid body motions. To see a preview of the software’s latest features, please watch this video presentation. For more information about VIC-3D, please visit the main product page here, and if you have any technical or pricing questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us today.
NEW to the VIC Suite product line, Correlated Solutions has developed a Digital Volumetic Correlation (DVC) software called Vic-Volume, which analyzes images from X-Rays or CT scanners to measure internal deformation of a specimen. The software is incredibly fast, robust, and easy to use. For more information about this software, please download our product brochure here, and please contact us if you would like to learn more about the system we offer backed by our #1 technical support staff.
This application allows users to create calibration grids for use with multi-camera VIC systems (e.g., VIC-3D). It provides a fast, convenient method of designing and printing calibration grid patterns of any size – perfect for those times when you don’t have the grid size that you need. The software includes guidelines for constructing temporary calibration grids from the patterns that you design and print. Best of all… it’s free!

Agents for Mac and Windows can be found in the Agent Repository:
ad.ufl.eduufemClienttrend or smb://ad.ufl.edu/ufem/client/trend
The installers for UF-Campus networks are different than the installers for Healthnet. If your endpoints on a closed or restricted Healthnet network, it will only be able to talk to the HSC-side Trend servers. If you install the campus agent on one of these machines, it will not show in the Trend consoles (or will show in the consoles as 'offline'). If this happens, the agent will need to be manually uninstalled so that the proper agent can be deployed to the endpoint.
Within the agent repository, there are 4 folders:
Campus - contains agent installers for endpoints on UF networks. OfficeScan and ApexOne agents have their own sub-folder under the Campus folder.
HSC- contains agent installers for endpoints on Healthnet networks. OfficeScan and ApexOne agents have their own sub-folder under the HSC folder.
CUT – (Windows ONLY. For Mac’s use the tmsmuninstall tool described under ‘Mac Installs) Common Uninstaller Tool. The nuclear uninstall option. This is a manual uninstaller that we have to get a new copy of from Trend every 3 months.
TrendVideo – Training video created by Trend for UF.
Inside the agent repository folder for each environment are 2 zip files for Mac endpoints. They are tmsminstall.zip and tmsmuninstall.zip. Please be sure to unzip the entire contents of these zip files before attempting to run the pkg to install or uninstall an agent. As with the Windows agent, OfficeScan and ApexOne have their own unique installer/uninstaller.
When using the CUT tool from Trend Micro you will need to go into the CUT folder and then save the CUT _4.0 folder locally. The reason for this is because you'll need to open a command prompt as admin cd to the file.
Here is our example c:usersufem100desktopCUT>cut.exe -noinstall
